I am Jeff Suber I feel privileged to work at Gadsden Technical Institute as Carpentry Instructor. I have been employed by Gadsden County School Board for Eight plus Years. Took Carpentry from 8th grade through 12th grade. Enrolled in an engineering/surveyor program 1974-1975 with Dept. Of Transportation of Florida. Employed by Lawson concrete of tallahassee 1976. Trained with two journeymen carpenters during 1977-78 and built one three story house plus worked on other projects. Employed by Mangum International Construction during 1978-1979, worked on overseas projects in Guantanamo Cuba, as well as commercial projects in Grady Co. Georgia, Decatur Co. Georgia, and Leon Co. Fla. During 1980-1996 worked out of field some but my jobs still carried carpentry related duties. Remodeled and performed new construction in Gadsden and Jackson counties during 1996-1997 built a two story house during this period along with other projects. Started as a Vocational Instructor for the Florida State Hospital 1998 and taught carpentry skills to inmates for eight years. In 2005 started working for Gadsden County Schools as a Vocational Instructor, currently working here at GTI as Carpentry Instructor.
