Nails Specialty Mission Statement: Our goal is to strive for: Customer satisfaction through research and development; in an atmosphere that fosters teamwork. Course Description:
A student completing the Nails Specialty Program is prepared for employment as a licensed Manacurist and Pedicurist. Instruction is designed to qualify students for employment upon successfully obtaining a nails Specialty Certification. The content includes but is not limited to: communication, leadership, human realtions and employability skills; safe and effecient work practices; Florida cosmetology law and rules; acquistion of knowledge of the nail speialist and the related chemistry, bacteriology, anatomy, and physiology; and development of skills in performing the techniques required in the practice of nails specialist occupations. This program focuses on broud, transferable skills and stresses understanding and demonstration of the following elements of the cosmetology industry; principals, labor, community, health, safety, and environmental issues.
Program and Lab Requirements:
Students in this course are expected to participant fully in and complete all the label exercise assigned to them. They are to read and follow instructions carefully, especially in relation to safety and sanitation precautions. Failure to complete lab assignments will result in a education of semester grade and possible dismissal.

- Sealed/Offical Transcript.
- Must be at least 16 yeas of age.
